01Which platforms are supported?
JobTrail currently ships for Windows x64. There are no macOS, Linux or native Windows ARM installers.
02Do I need an account?
No. JobTrail does not require an account. Your applications, resumes and chat history are stored locally.
03Does the assistant need configuration?
Yes. Set your chosen model endpoint, model name and API key in Settings. Usage charges and service terms are determined by your model provider.
04When do reminders work?
Local reminders require the app to stay running. You can hide the window in the system tray and keep receiving reminders.
05How do I protect or move my data?
Export a complete backup in Settings and keep it outside the installation folder. Import replaces current data; uninstall clears the installation folder. Back up first.
06Why does the download open GitHub?
The website directly links to the published stable installer and does not store installers on this server. Release information refreshes hourly. Downloads depend on your connection to GitHub.
